Tesco, Home Bargains join Halewood line-up

Neptune Developments has signed two more deals at the new district centre planned for Halewood in Knowsley.
Tesco has signed a 20-year lease on 4,100 sq ft. Home Bargains is taking an 8,000 sq ft on a 15-year lease. The pair join centre anchor Aldi which had already committed to a 17,000 sq ft. There is now only one large unit left at the scheme.
The £5.5m scheme was approved by Knowsley Council late last year. Construction is due to begin soon and be completed by March 2012.
The district centre will complete the redevelopment of Raven Court, partly occupied by Knowsley Council, NHS Knowsley and community services.
When will the centre be opening? It seems to be in the building stage forever! All looks complete now so when will the shops open?
