Sutton Kersh offers EFC number plate at auction

The auctioneer is offering 64 commercial, residential and investment properties at its next sale at the Marriott Hotel in Liverpool city centre.

For the first time ever, Sutton Kersh said a vehicle registration plate is being offered at its property auction aimed for supporters of Everton FC.

The DVLA number plate TOF 33S has been kept in private hands for the last 25 years and was issued in 1977.

Sutton Kersh said the number plate carries a guide of £5,000-£7,000 and will be donating all of its commission raised to the Rhys Jones Memorial Fund.

The number plate is being offered as lot 30.

1 Wellington Street in GarstonThe opening lot of the day will be a property on Wellington Road in Garston, available as a redevelopment and refurbishment opportunity.

Originally a school, and then later used as offices, the two storey building has a total internal floor area of 13,084 sq ft and a total site area of 9,526 sq ft.

The property backs on to Wood Street and is just a short distance from Garston's main shopping high streets on St Mary's Road and Speke Road. It carries a guide price of over £70,000.

Sutton Kersh said the other lots generating high levels of interest include a vacant residential property on Livingstone Drive North that has been converted into ten flats and is guided at £275,000 plus, a commercial investment in Mitchell Crescent in Litherland guided at £175,000 plus, and a substantial residential investment on Grange Road West in Birkenhead guided at £200,000-£225,000.

James Kersh, director, said: "Our current catalogue has lots of potential with many reasonably priced quality properties available. The return of specialist buy-to-let mortgage lender Paragon should have instilled further confidence in to the investor market and I am hoping to see a good number of professional investors and landlords in the room looking to take advantage of the deals available. The lettings market in Liverpool is set to play an important role in the Liverpool housing market over the next 12 months when public spending cuts come into play. Tenant demand is currently very strong. Any professional landlords that are in a position to expand their portfolios in the current market would be well advised to do so."

Sutton Kersh said its final auction of the year will take place on 8 December and instructions are now being accepted from vendors and their agents.

The next sale takes place at 12pm on Wednesday 27 October.
