Story Homes proposes development in Halton

Lancaster City Council is set to consider plans for 90 homes in the village of Halton.

The 13-acre site is agricultural land used for pasture, bounded by Low Road and Forge Lane.

Story Homes is planning a mix of two to four bedroom homes, with 40% designated as affordable.

The application is for outline planning permission and is due to be considered by the council on Monday 8 May with a recommendation to approve proposals.

MCK Associates is the architect on the project, PWA planning is advising.

Story Homes has offices in Carlisle, Newcastle and Chorley. A proposal for 87 homes in Ulverston was also submitted by the developer last month.
