SLG takes Poulton resi scheme to market
Strategic Land Group is to sell a 9.5-acre plot on the edge of Poulton-le-Fylde, having secured outline planning consent in June for up to 108 homes.
Armistead Barnett is acting as agent. A guide price in excess of £4m has been set.
Wyre Borough Council’s planning committee approved the application in June, subject to Section 106 contributions including schools and highway improvements. Thirty per cent of the homes will be affordable.
Paul Smith, managing director of SLG, said: “The site provides an excellent opportunity to deliver much needed new homes in the Wyre area, in a location that the council accept is strategically important.
“Being able to market the site with planning permission means we are able to get the best deal for our client, the landowner, and give the purchaser of the site a head start on being able to bring the development forward quickly.
“Everyone is well aware there are nowhere near enough new homes being built. It is important councils plan to build the right number of homes to help support existing communities and to support economic growth.”
SLG has received planning advice from Euan Kellie Property Solutions and Turley. LMP is the scheme’s architect.
