Search launched for £1bn public works framework

A framework is being established for the design and construction of up to £1bn in public amenities and services across the North West over four years.

Relating to individual projects valued at in excess of £9m, it is is estimated that the overall potential value of the work will be between £250m and £1bn.

The framework is being established by Manchester City Council on behalf of local authorities across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside and Cheshire.

It relates to a wide range of potential projects, including the design and construction of shops, theatres and leisure facilities.
