Rum Warehouse set to complete

A new events space, the 1,000 capacity Rum Warehouse, will open in Liverpool this June exclusively for the International Festival of Business before it opens to the public in July.

Rum Warehouse, at Titanic Hotel Liverpool, Stanley Dock has 15,000 sq ft of exhibition space and will host and cater for a variety of events, including awards ceremonies, expos, roadshows and conferences.

The warehouse has been restored to retain its original features such as its floor-to-ceiling windows with views onto Stanley Dock and the adjacent Tobacco Warehouse.

The building combines two floors with a range of boardrooms and breakout spaces, three bars, full black-out capability, outside terraces, high speed internet and onsite free coach and car parking.

Kerry Smith, sales and marketing director of Titanic Hotel Liverpool, said: "It is an honour to be hosting such a stellar line-up of events at the Rum Warehouse, before it has officially opened to the public in July.

"The Rum Warehouse is a blank canvas that can be tailored to suit different companies and organisations which will be shown throughout the 50 day IFB."

The North Liverpool scheme is owned by Stanley Dock Properties, owned by Dublin-based Patrick Doherty.

Stanley Dock was given a Regional Growth Fund grant of £25m in 2011 to get the development on site. The adjacent Titanic Hotel is due to open this summer.[IMG: border=”0″ alt=””]
