RPS considers planning team redundancies

Diverse property consultancy RPS Group is understood to have placed its entire planning team in Manchester on notice of redundancy.

The move would involve the loss of six staff from the Princess Street office. Planning director Mark Krassowski leaves today to join Cliff Walsingham & Co in Knutsford. RPS had been advertising for a replacement director but has now decided it may close the team altogether. The consultation finishes on 1 June.

In 2008, RPS acquired RW Gregory, a building services and engineering consultancy based in Manchester. RPS offers health and safety, energy, development and planning advice.

RPS has offices throughout the country and its headquarters in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
