Roundhouse signs Leonard Curtis at South Rings

Roundhouse Properties has completed the first phase of South Rings Office Village near Preston and announced its first tenant.

The property company has signed up insolvency practice, Leonard Curtis to one of its 1,400 sq ft units on a ten-year lease. Talks are also underway with two prospective tenants for the development's 6,000 sq ft units.

Mark Delaney of Leonard Curtis said: "We've been looking for a strong strategic location that will aid the expansion of the business and South Rings Office Village will serve us well. It will give our business extra reach in Lancashire and will help us to build a strong presence in the region."

Roundhouse will also be based at the development, which also incorporates a show office. Jeremy Lefton, director, commented: "We're confident that we'll have the same success here as we have had at our sister site – South Preston Office Village, which now only has one unit available – and in this hard market that is a good achievement.

"One of the reasons behind its success is our mantra which is to offer tenants flexibility combined with a personal approach. Another success factor is the development's location. It's a place where businesses can serve the whole ofLancashire and beyond because it sits on an excellent motorway interchange which accesses the M6, M61 and M65."
