Rochdale warehouse sold

AF Sprinklers has bought a 16,800 sq ft warehouse in the Transpennine Industrial Estate in Rochdale from a private landlord.

AF Sprinklers will relocate from its current premises in Bury to the detached unit, which is situated on Gorrells Way.

WHR acted on behalf of the vendor. The quoting price for the property was £695,000.

John Barton, surveyor at WHR, said: "We have completed a number of deals in North Manchester over the last few months; a sign that the market is definitely improving. Demand for good quality modern industrial units continues to rise and as existing stock diminishes, we expect freehold and leasehold levels to steadily rise as a result."

AF Sprinklers was unrepresented.
