Purcell hires Capita director

Nick Gregory has joined the Manchester studio of architecture and design practice Purcell as partner after six years at Capita.

Gregory’s experience includes acting as client director on a number of University of Manchester projects in its major capital works programme and as project manager, while at contractor Schal, on the Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham designed by Wilkinson Eyre, which won the 2001 Stirling Prize.

He was also a project manager on the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games and more recently project director on the redevelopment of the Jodrell Bank Observatory.

As the tenth largest architectural practice in the UK, and part of the AJ120 top ten, Purcell is keenly looking towards the future with these two new appointments who are joining during an exciting phase of major growth and transformation.
