Pugh & Co’s July catalogue online

A part-renovated church with planning consent for conversion into a five-bedroom residential property is among the lots being offered at Pugh & Co's July sale.

Described as "ideal for developers", the grade 2-listed former Christ Church in Todmorden, Lancashire, has a guide price of between £150,000 and £175,000.

Other lots on offer include a grade 2-listed former engine house and a former ambulance station.

The engine house was originally part of the Jubilee Mill in Padiham, Lancashire, and occupies approximately 1,472 sq ft. Guided between £45,000 and £55,000, the property has development opportunities subject to gaining the necessary consents.

A former ambulance station in Rochdale offered on behalf of the North West Ambulance Service will also be available at the auction, which is being held at Manchester United's Old Trafford ground on Thursday 18 July.
The purpose-built ambulance station provides office and mess accommodation, kitchen facilities, changing rooms and a triple bay garage. It is guided at £100,000 plus and has development potential.

Pugh & Company will also be offering ten lots on behalf of United Utilities, including the former Brushes Clough Reservoir, Besom Hill Reservoir and adjacent land in Oldham. Guide prices start at £5,000.

Stephen Swainson, director for Pugh & Co and The Auction People, said: "From historic buildings and countryside cottages to redevelopment lots and buy-to-let opportunities, our July catalogue offers a real mix of properties appealing to a wide variety of buyers.

"Our last auctions topped £11m in total sales and we hope to repeat the same success next month."

Pugh & Co's July auction is available to view online.
