Prospect GB plans housing on industrial site

Prospect GB has secured planning permission to develop 32 homes on a brownfield site in Timperley, Altrincham.

Plans approved by Trafford Council include the demolition of existing industrial buildings, which have been vacant since July 2012, and the construction of a new housing scheme in addition to new landscaping, access and parking. The scheme will include 32 family homes with three and four bedrooms.

Jon Suckley, partner at HOW Planning, advising Prospect GB, said: "This is a great decision not just for Prospect but also the local community as the new development will transform a piece of land that is currently detracting from the character and appearance of the area. The scheme will deliver a viable housing development which will be much more in line with existing surroundings."
