Platinum Coaches relocates to Leyland

Two industrial deals have been completed at Boxer Place on Moss Side Industrial Estate in Leyland, Lancashire.

Coach hire company Platinum Coaches has taken 7,000 sq ft on a three year lease, while fork lift truck company Rack n' Stack has taken a 4,000 sq ft unit on a one year lease. Both rents were undisclosed.

The new tenants join companies such as Torotrak and Schwans Europe on the estate, located close to Junction 28 of the M6 motorway, Junction 9 of the M61 motorway, and Junction 1 of the M65 motorway.

Mark Harrison, agency surveyor at Robert Pinkus & Co, who acted on behalf of the landlord Miller, said: "The units at Boxer Place offers the new tenants enough scope to expand for ongoing expansion and we wish both Rack n' Stack and Platinum Coaches well in their new accommodation.

"Moss Side Employment Area is historically a very popular business hub due to the close proximity to all the main North West motorway networks and interest in any of the available units on the site is always high."

Platinum Coaches has moved its headquarters and operations to the new unit from Factory Lane in Penwortham, south Preston, to facilitate its expansion plans.
