Plans in for next phase of New Bailey flats

A planning application has been submitted for the third block of flats at New Bailey in Salford, delivering a 21-storey tower made up of 199 apartments for sale.

The building next to the River Irwell will sit alongside a two smaller residential blocks, both of which are for the private rented sector. The first, The Slate Yard, was completed last month, and the second is under construction.

All three have been designed by AHR Architects, for New Bailey developer English Cities Fund.

The latest block will include 98 one bedroom, 81 two bedroom, and 20 three bedroom apartments. There will also be a residents lounge and gym on the ground floor.

Stanley Street will be pedestrianised as part of the development.

English Cities Fund is a joint venture between Muse Developments, the Homes & Communities Agency and Legal & General.
