Around 400,000 sq ft of office development is proposed at Pall Mall by developers CTP and Kier Property

Pall Mall developers open public consultation

The joint venture proposing the £200m redevelopment of Pall Mall Exchange in Liverpool is to host public consultation events over the next two days, to get views on their proposals ahead of submitting a planning application later this year.

CTP and Kier Property were named Liverpool City Council’s preferred developers on the project in February.

Both will host a consultation event between 2-7pm on Wednesday 5 July, and from 8am-12pm on Thursday 6 July within the Exchange Station concourse to present their plans for a four-acre plot of land at the rear of Exchange Station.

The site is made up of part of the Pall Mall NCP Car Park and an area of green space.

The phased redevelopment of the plot is expected to deliver an office-led scheme totalling 400,000 sq ft of space with retail and leisure uses, and a landscaped public realm.

The project is envisaged as the first phase of a wider masterplan for the mixed-use regeneration of the whole Pall Mall NCP car park.

James Nicholson, development director for Kier Property, said: “This is a great opportunity for us to engage with the public on this exciting new project. We see this as the start of process where we work collectively to see a new space created that regenerates a key area in the city that we can all be proud of.”

The wider team advising on the Pall Mall project includes architect Allies & Morrison, along with Curtins, G&T, Ernest Griffiths, Eversheds and Sweco. CTP and Kier Property were advised by Colliers International and Worthington Owen.
