Outdoor retailer expands in Liverpool

Retailer Adapt Outdoors has acquired the 7,100 sq ft former premises of ladies fashion store Solitaire off Williamson Square in Liverpool from liquidator P&A Partnership.

The building was on the market for £495,000. Adapt Outdoors is currently based in neighbouring Richmond Street.

Rory Dillon, surveyor at Sanderson Weatherall, said: "I am really pleased that this well run, local family business is able to expand its operations into a high quality unit. With new occupiers including Dawson's Music and Adapt Outdoors, moving onto the street, this will further improve the retail offer and pedestrian foot flow along Williamson Street."

Sanderson Weatherall advised liquidator P&A Partnership.

Solitare was a corking shop! Had a few cheeky little numbers in there and some real bargains! Shame its gone. Perhaps this shop could do an offering off some sort on one of the floors for casual/workwear and a few coats?
