Online Ventures moving to The Hive

Digital marketing agency Online Ventures has agreed a five year lease on 4,235 sq ft at The Hive on Lever Street, Manchester.

Online Ventures is moving to the joint venture between Argent and Manchester City Council from a 2,600 sq ft base in 88 King Street due to expansion. It employs 26 people and is looking to employ a further ten people over the next year.

Paul Yates, chief executive of Online Ventures, said: "The Hive is the perfect home for us, not just because of its location but because we are able to put our own mark on the space we've taken.

"We're working with Shelia Bird Group on the office space design as we want to provide a great environment for our team and clients."

Online Ventures develops original ideas for digital marketing campaigns and strategies. The firm also offers data and insights, social media, link building, Android & iOS development, direct marketing, web design & development, content writing and video production.

Angela Fielding, project director, Argent said: "Online Ventures is the third company to move into The Hive in the past four months, which is great news. We have a developing thriving community of businesses at The Hive and we have interest in the remaining space."

Edwards & Co acted for Argent and is the appointed letting agent on The Hive.
