Offices NW: 1 October

Offices NWJoin Schroders, Colliers International and Hill Dickinson to examine key market trends in office investment, occupier demand and city planning at this Place North West event due to be held in City Tower on 1 October.

Alison Ross, infrastructure and operations director at Trader Media Group, publisher of Auto Trader, will outline the reasons behind the firm's major relocation from Warrington to Manchester this year.

Tom Newman, investment manager at Schroders, will describe the firm's plans for portfolio growth in Manchester and reasons behind the acquisition of City Tower for £132m from Bruntwood in May.

Other speakers will include Tony O'Brien, partner at architecture practice Sheppard Robson, and Mike Hawkins, director at Colliers International.

Offices NW is free to attend and will be held on the top floor of City Tower on the morning of Wednesday 1 October, starting at 8am and due to close at 11am. There will be a mix of presentations and panel debate, with an opportunity to put questions to our panel of experts.

Also on the agenda will be inward investment in the North West, changes to permitted development rights, energy performance certificates and the new office build pipeline.
