Nobles completes £1.4m Wallasey medical centre refurbishment

Liverpool-based contractor Nobles Construction has completed a £1.4m extension and refurbishment of St George's Medical Centre in Wallasey, Wirral.

The project has taken eleven months to complete and is part of Wallasey's vision to expand and update the healthcare service it provides.

The 9,100 sq ft extension has doubled the size of the medical practice, creating an additional thirteen consulting rooms, three of which have an adjoining training room to enhance learning and interaction between its registrar students and doctors.

Peter Dunn, contract manager at Nobles Construction, said: "The St George's project was a great success; it was completed on time, within budget and with minimum disruption to patients and staff."
