Neptune Developments will open the doors at its 133-bedroom Ramada Plaza hotel in Southport on 20 October.
The four-star hotel is part of Neptune's £30m mixed-use scheme, The Waterfront, anchored by a rebuilt and extended Floral Hall Conference Centre as well as a 16,000 sq ft Stanley 'Circus' Casino.
Steve Parry, Neptune's managing director, said advanced bookings were increasing at the conference centre and he was now looking to attract restaurant and bar tenants for the 15,000 sq ft of leisure space at the scheme. Christie & Co and Mowbray Gill have been appointed to market the leisure space.
Parry added: "Southport is a fantastic year-round leisure and business tourism destination with a unique feel and quality. The market to date has only been limited by the facilities on offer. The Waterfront and other high quality developments within the town are having a real impact on visitor numbers.
"The redeveloped Conference Centre and Theatre is already a tremendous success with a doubling of the number of conferences forward booked into 2009/2010.
"I have no doubt that it will quickly become the destination of choice for leisure in the town."
