Muse confirms move to Riverside House

The developer will relocate from Salford Quays to the 11,000 sq ft building within New Bailey, which is currently being delivered by contractor Bardsley.

The company is based at Anchorage 1 at the Quays and will move around 30 staff to its new base once the project completes later this year.

Bardsley started work on the scheme around 12 months ago and has worked to retain the façade of the existing building with a new floor, balcony, and rooftop terrace incorporated into the structure.

It sits within the wider New Bailey site, which is being developed by English Cities Fund, a joint venture between Muse, Legal & General, and Homes England, working in partnership with Salford City Council.

JLL and Cushman & Wakefield are the joint agents for New Bailey.

Phil Mayall, director at Muse Developments and the English Cities Fund, said: “This move is both a statement of our intent to continued expansion in the region, along with an opportunity to offer our colleagues a flexible working environment for them to thrive in.

“New Bailey really is one of our flagship schemes. We believe we are delivering transformational regeneration in Salford, so much so that we wanted to be part of it.”
