McGrigors doubles size of Manchester office

Law firm McGrigors has expanded its Manchester operation by taking an additional 2,640 sq ft at The Pinnacle on King Street in Manchester's commercial core.

The new agreement included re-gearing McGrigors' existing lease to a new 10-year term and was achieved at a rental level of £28.80/sq ft.

Will Lewis of WHR advised owner Legal & General on the transaction. He commented: "In times where a number of law firms are downsizing, it is great to see a major firm such as McGrigors double the size of its Manchester operation."

Lewis added: "McGrigors has operated a successful business since opening its Manchester office in the traditional prime core and this deal has confirmed its long term commitment to this area of the city."
