Masonic hall put up for sale

CBRE North West has been appointed by property company Brook Finch Pogson to sell a former Freemasons Hall in Chorlton with planning consent.

The 1.04-acre site in Edge Lane is three miles south of Manchester city centre and has detailed planning permission for 12 flats.

Steven Verity, director of residential at CBRE, said: "This site is within a prime location in this popular South Manchester suburb. In addition, the North West region offers the best rental return yields in the country, so the development offers a fantastic opportunity for developers, particularly as planning permission has already been approved and is supported by Manchester City Council."
