Marine supplier relocates in Wirral

Legat Owen reported the letting of a 21,500 sq ft unit in Tebay Road, Bromborough to VerdErg Connectors, a provider of diver-less sub-sea connection systems to the oil and gas sectors.

VerdErg has offices in Knaphill, Surrey and assembly facilities in Birkenhead. The firm is relocating its assembly facility and consolidating its production operations into the new Tebay Road facility in response to an increased order book. Verderg signed a 15-year lease. The quoting rent is £4.25/sq ft.

The units at Tebay Road were built on a speculative basis by Andrews Property Investments. The new units were awarded a BREEAM 'excellent' for their sustainable credentials.

There is one 21,500 sq ft unit remaining to let within the development through Stephen Wade at Legat Owen.
