MAG hands over new airport Premier Inn

MAG Developments, the property arm of Manchester Airports Group, has completed work on a 166-bedroom Premier Inn Hotel, the third 'limited service' hotel at the airport to have been built in the past three years.

Joanne Pickup of Premier Inn owner Whitbread said: "This new hotel offers quality accommodation, excellent food & drink and purpose-built meeting rooms at a very attractive price for the area. It is also served by its very own Costa Coffee outlet, which is proving very popular already. I'd encourage anybody to come and see for themselves what we have to offer here at Manchester Airport."

John Atkins, MD of MAG Developments, said: "Together with our partner Premier Inn, we are delighted to have completed this latest purpose built hotel on time and within budget. Manchester Airport now provides more than 600 bedrooms within its three limited service hotels as well as a wide range of other hotel offers."

The new hotel opens in July.
