MAC Construction Consultants adds director

Richard Bellis has joined the construction firm’s Manchester office, bringing more than 18 years of experience in cost and project management.

Bellis specialises in working with private developers in the industrial and commercial sectors.

He started his new role in June, coming to MAC from quantity surveyors Appleyard and Trew, where he worked as an associate. Past roles for Bellis include being an associate director with RPS, an associate with AA Projects and a quantity surveyor with Edmond Shipway.

MAC director Yusoff Ghaznavi said: “Richard’s appointment reflects our sustainable growth plan, driven by strong relationships from both new clients and our strong record of repeat business. Richard’s appointment is indicative of our commitment to building a national network of highly experienced and dedicated construction professionals.”

Bellis described his new position as a “new and exciting challenge,” and praised his new company.

“In recent years MAC has positioned itself as a true market leader in the delivery of major public and private sector developments,” he said.

MAC Construction Consultants has locations in London, Sheffield, Leeds, Milton Keynes, and Bristol in addition to Manchester. MAC was the quantity surveyor for several Manchester Life residential schemes including Cottonfield Wharf and Weavers Quay, Murrays Mill, Sawmill Court and Smith Yard.
