LSH recruits Powell from OBI

Emma Powell is set to join Lambert Smith Hampton’s Manchester office agency team next month as senior surveyor.

Powell is currently part of the transactions and asset management team at OBI Property. She joined the company in 2010 after graduating from Leeds University with a degree in Physiology and a masters in Criminal Justice. During her time at OBI, she trained and graduated with a property degree from Salford University and is a qualified chartered surveyor.

At LSH, Powell will be working alongside associate director Josh Levy and head of office Abid Jaffry.

Jaffry said: “Office agency is an area where we see significant opportunities for growth and Emma very much fits the profile of the kind of energetic and hungry surveyor that we believe will be key to LSH’s long term success.

“This has been an exciting year for LSH with the acquisitions of Tushingham Moore and ES Group and significant investment in our offices across the company’s northern network and it is important that we continue to enlist high quality people to help us carry forward this momentum.”

Will Lewis, co-founder of OBI Property, said: “Emma joined OBI only a few months after starting our business and has played a very important role over the past five years in helping grow our business to where it is today. We wish her all the very best with her new role and she will undoubtedly make a big difference when she starts with LSH.”

OBI is currently looking to recruit a replacement for Powell.
