Lovell to start Sale housing scheme in June

Trafford Housing Trust has selected Lovell to build a £2.9m mixed-tenure development of energy-efficient new housing in Sale, Greater Manchester.

There will be 26 homes, made up of 22 two- and three-bedroom houses and four two-bedroom flats. Of these, 12 houses will be for shared ownership through Trafford Housing Trust and the four flats will be for affordable rent through the trust. The other ten houses will be for sale on the open market by Lovell.

The scheme at Roebuck Gardens in Roebuck Lane was designed by architects TADW. Building work on the new homes will start in June 2010 while the development is due to be completed in March 2011.
