Liverpool auctioneer details next sale

Sutton Kersh is holding its final residential and commercial property auction of the year next Tuesday with 67 lots available.

The Liverpool-based auction house has generated receipts of just over £21m so far this year from five auctions. Its final auction sale of the year is predominantly comprised of low-priced residential stock.

James Kersh, director of auctions at Sutton Kersh, said: "There are some exceptional residential investment opportunities available in the December sale. Given the turbulence in the property market this year I am pleased with our performance this year. We have averaged £4m per sale, which is no mean achievement in this climate. The prevalence of private investors is indicative of renewed confidence in the market and I believe we will see continued improvements in performance in the new year."

The first lot to go under the hammer will be 96 Sandhurst Street in Aigburth. This mid-terrace vacant house is set over two-storeys and includes three bedrooms. Situated in a residential area, just off Aigburth Road, the property has a guide of just over £75,000.

The next auction will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in St Nicholas Place at Liverpool's Pier Head on Tuesday 8 December at 12pm.
