Legat Owen secures 20,000 sq ft letting at Birkenhead business park

Gas detection systems provider A1-Cbiss has taken a 20,000 sq ft, 15-year lease at Birkenhead’s Lairdside Technology Park, moving into a unit formerly occupied by Survitec Group.

The 20,000 sq ft unit was formerly under the sole occupancy of Survitec, which manufactures survival equipment for aircraft. The company is headquartered on Beaufort Road in Birkenhead.

The property has been fully refurbished since Survitec’s departure, and A1-Cbiss will relocate from its current headquarters, also at the business park.

Facilities at the property include a showroom, trade counter, warehouse, and office space over two floors. It has been leased from a private client, with Legat Owen as sole agents.

Typical quoting rent at the business park, just off the A41, are from £5/sq ft.
