Langtree busy in Stockport

Langtree has reported six deals at the Kingsgate office building in Stockport, which is now 93% let.

An unnamed mobile phone sales and service operator has signed a five-year lease and is set to occupy 3,687 sq ft.

Fichtner, an existing tenant, extended its lease by a further five years, taking an additional 4,567 sq ft. It now occupies 11,554 sq ft.

General Physics signed a five-year lease on 9,134 sq ft.

Finance consultancy, Organon, has taken 603 sq ft in the building's 'executive suites' together with Medilinks and QSL Recruitment, which took 283 sq ft and 205 sq ft respectively. The executive suites, which provide an all inclusive cost, offer accommodation from 280 sq ft with flexible leases from six months.

Nicky Jones, property director of Langtree, said: "We are delighted with the number of deals achieved at Kingsgate and the continued interest in the building during these challenging market conditions.

"We believe this is a reflection of our continued investment in the presentation of the building."

The quoting rent is £11/sq ft. WHR Property Consultants and CBRE are the letting agents.

Oliver Rowe of WHR commented: "These latest lettings are not only good news for our client but also for Stockport as it continues to attract new companies to the area. Langtree's approach to offering flexible leases means that they can accommodate a wide range of requirements as well as giving occupiers the opportunity to expand."

Kirsty Littleford of CBRE comments: "Since the refurbishment of Kingsgate and the launch of the flexibility of the different sized suites available, a number of occupiers have been interested in the building which has resulted in a great number of recent deals."
