Kershaw to take over at One Manchester

The housing and community services provider has appointed Nicole Kershaw to replace the current chief executive Dave Power when he steps down next year.

Kershaw joins from her role as chief operating officer at Halton Housing, where she has been since 2018, after first joining as interim chief operating officer in May that year. Previous roles include at The Guinness Partnership and Irwell Valley Housing Association.

She will replace Dave Power, who is stepping down from his role as group chief executive after more than four-and-a-half years.

On her appointment, Kershaw said: “One Manchester is a fantastic organisation and I am honoured to lead it forward with a team I respect and admire.”

Dave Power said: “Nicole’s 15 years of experience in the social housing sector and her focus on transformational leadership, innovative service design and creating first class customer experience means she’s well placed to continue the great work One Manchester has been doing for its customers and in its place areas.”
