JOB: Senior Planning Officer (Gypsy & Traveller)

This post represents a great opportunity to join a new Gypsy Traveller team, dealing with all aspects of planning in relation to both public and private provision, in a borough that covers a large geographical area.

You will be expected to take on a large and varied caseload of Gypsy Traveller planning applications, any associated appeals and enforcement action required, in addition to providing advice and guidance to applicants, the general public and elected Members.

You will need the ability to work with minimum supervision but will be expected to play an active role in the collaborative team structure within the department.
