Hut renews Warrington lease

Online retailer The Hut Group has extended its lease on a 109,747 sq ft warehouse in Warrington for another three years with a break after two.

The premises at Stretton Distribution Centre are owned by Carmel Southend. Details of the rent paid were not disclosed.

The property has been extensively refurbished and completely re-clad and includes two-storey office accommodation.

Julien Kenny-Levick, director of Colliers International in Manchester, advised the landlord. He said: "The Hut Group is one of the North West's most ambitious and entrepreneurial businesses and this renewed commitment to a strategically positioned distribution hub is indicative of its ongoing success."

Stretton Distribution Centre is one mile from the M6/M56 interchange and directly accessible via a new expressway.
