Hed Kandi opening in Liverpool

Grosvenor has signed the music and fashion brand to the retail destination in Liverpool city centre.

Hed Kandi agreed to lease a 3,933 sq ft store for undisclosed sum in lower South John Street which will be its second UK shop when it opens in the autumn.

Originally launched as a record label eleven years ago, Hed Kandi now combines with club events, and a fashion line and accessories.

Miles Dunnett, head of asset management, Grosvenor Liverpool Fund, said: "We are very pleased that Hed Kandi have chosen Liverpool ONE to open their first flagship store outside of the South East. They are a famous fashion brand and will be a strong addition to South John Street whilst complementing the wider Liverpool One offer.

"This news leaves South John Street fully let with the exception of one unit which is currently under offer to another new retailer choosing Liverpool One."

The brand is run by former La Senza and Monsoon boss Rose Foster.

Hed Kandi was advised by MMX Retail and Tushingham Moore and Cushman & Wakefield represented Liverpool One.
