GVA Grimley’s Newall makes Manchester return

David Newall, who established Manchester's GVA Grimley recovery team in 1979 heading up the business for 22 years, has return to the North West city to provide further support to the team.

Newall relocated to the company's London office to become national head of valuation services in 2001.

However, the current economic downturn has led to an escalated requirement for further expansion within the Manchester recovery and valuation team.

Roger Phillips, director and regional head of valuation, said: "In the current market there is obviously a great deal of emphasis on recovery and valuation, so David has agreed to relocate back to Manchester to strengthen the existing team. David is currently one of the UK's principal recovery specialists so it is fantastic to have him back in Manchester."
