GMPVF consent in Warrington

Outline planning approval has been granted by Warrington Council for a 200,000 sq ft development at Calver Park in Warrington by Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund.

The redevelopment of the 12-acre brownfield site will contain 195,000 sq ft of industrial and office units if fully delivered and up to 20,000 sq ft of car showroom space.

GVA acted on behalf of GMPVF advising on planning matters and will continue to act as agents for the scheme.

James Sheppard, planning associate at GVA, said: "The site provides an excellent opportunity to allow for significant jobs creation in this sustainable location, delivering quality employment space to meet the requirements of a range of businesses."

The planning application was also supported by Fletcher Rae Architects and Wardell Armstrong.
