G&J Seddon wins £7m Wigan housing job

Contractor G&J Seddon has been appointed by Wigan & Leigh Housing Company to replace cladding and insulation on five 13-storey residential tower blocks in Scholes Village, Wigan.

The £7m contract will involve installing an insulated render system, including associated roofing, decoration, door replacement, entrance canopies and concrete repair work.

Seddon beat four other bidders to land the contract for the housing arm of Wigan council.
