Gayton stables for sale

A property located in Gayton providing six stables is being sold at Smith & Sons' first auction of the year at a guide price of £200,000-£250,000.

The auctioneer said the site extends to 3.2 acres and is situated on Chester Road in Gayton, within an area of greenbelt and five minutes drive of Heswall, Wirral.

The property is accessed through electronically operated gates and over a long private driveway and also provides two large paddocks, a ménage with floodlights, tack room with stores and timber cabins providing an office and living accommodation.

There are 31 lots available at the auction taking place at the Village Hotel in Brombrough, which is being filmed by the BBC programme Homes Under the Hammer.

Auctioneer Chris Johnson said: "Our first auction of the year is our most diverse catalogue for some time and I believe offers the scope and range that Homes Under the Hammer are looking for. We have a number of houses and flats suitable for refurbishment across all price ranges which will prove ideal for rental or re-sale once works are complete. Properties across Hoylake, Heswall and West Kirby are already attracting keen interest."

A detached house on the corner of Gerald Road and Shrewsbury Road in Oxton, providing five flats and a separate bungalow, is available at a guide price of £290,000-£320,000.

Another stand out lot includes a residential development site in Oxton with planning permission for five large apartments which is guided at £175,000-£180,000.

The auction will be held on 15 February at 2pm.
