Redbrick Mill has signed a lease agreement on space at Grosvenor's Liverpool One development in the city centre.
The furniture department store has agreed a deal on 50,000 sq ft at the retail destination, which covers three floors, and it will trade as Home Quarter.
The store will open late summer.
This is a great thing for Liverpool One – but something needs to be done down the road in the Met Quarter. Another business has closed there this week and there are loads of empty units. The footfall has dropped away since L1 opened. The management need to do something.
They need to extend their hours and also come up with some new ideas. There’s nothing wrong with the development, it is well known and quality inside. For a start it would help if the bouncers were not at the front trying to lock the doors on people twenty minutes before closing time.
