Frogmore takes finance firm from Exchange to Universal

Developer Frogmore has signed Cartel Client Review for 33,000 sq ft at the Universal Square office scheme in Ardwick, near Piccadilly station in Manchester.

CCR agreed a five-year lease – believed to be the biggest of 2009 so far – at the former Great Universal Stores headquarters. The building was among the big winners in the Manchester market in the past two years, with 160,000 sq ft of deals. There is still 100,000 sq ft remaining.

CCR will relocate from Exchange Quay in Salford. Canning O'Neill and DTZ advised Frogmore. Quoting rents are £10/sq ft.
