Fabric completes first Oldham project

Fabric Living, part of First Choice Homes Oldham, has completed work on its first development, a shared ownership scheme in Royton.

The Fabric Living brand was launched earlier this year by the housing association. Work on the 10-home Pavilion Green has completed this week, with construction firm Tyson Construction handing over the properties.

Seven of the homes have been reserved prior to completion. First Choice said that Fabric has experienced “overwhelming” demand since launching and has revealed plans for its next projects: firstly Woodlands on Keb Lane, where a showhome will open this month ahead of another 10-home scheme; while a further 12 properties are planned for Pennine View off Ripponden Road, Sholver.

Lynsey Clark, assistant director of development at First Choice Homes Oldham, said: “We know there is a shortage of affordable homes for people in Oldham but the amount of enquiries we’ve had about our new homes has been higher than we could have imagined.

“We’d encourage anyone who is interested to give our sales team a call to see the show homes as we know these next new developments won’t be for available for long.”

Hollins Gardner is instructed as sales agent.
