Extension proposed for St Helens foodpacking warehouse

IPS Foodpack has submitted an application for a 65,500 sq ft extension to its warehouse in St Helens.

Currently, IPS Foodpack occupies a 74,000 sq ft facility on the industrial park on Abbotsfield Road.

The extension would almost double the food distributor’s footprint to 139,000 sq ft.

The application would see an increase in car parking spaces from 76 to 172, a portion of which are to be specifically for electric vehicles, as well as the removal of an existing single-storey warehouse building to the rear, adding seven loading bays, and the relocation of external plant equipment.

The proposals were designed by C4 Projects.
