Estate Master opens regional office

Estate Master, the Australian-based property software company, has opened an office in Bruntwood's Manchester One following its launch in the UK earlier this year.

The company opened its UK head office in London at 23 Hanover Square in April and announced plans to open an additional base in Manchester.

Estate Master has appointed Dr Tim Havard as director of professional services UK, based in the Manchester office.

Havard is owner and manager of the Oakbrook Consultancy which provides seminars, training and consultancy to the property industry. He will continue in this role alongside his work for Estate Masters. He has also previously acted as a consultant to Argus Software.

At Estate Master, Havard will manage the technical application of the software in addition to delivering training and strengthening links with the education sector.

Estate Master has also promoted Vince Harney to global chief operating officer from his role as director of professional services EMEA. Harvey spearheaded the company's UK move as well as working alongside inward investment agency Midas to source the location for the Manchester office.

Havard said: "The recovery will see a lot of developers and investors looking at new projects or dusting off old ones. Estate Master's software will give them the tools to assess the viability of these schemes and manage any subsequent development. I look forward to working with the company and their clients to achieve these goals."

Harney said: "Dr Tim Havard joining Estate Master UK was key in our decision to open a UK operation. His technical knowledge and understanding of both the software and the UK property market in which we are now operating will be invaluable in positioning Estate Master as the number one real estate software company in the UK."

Estate Master has developed software since 1991 and provides property development, valuation and investment software, as well as for corporate and project reporting.
