Enterprise plans 200,000 sq ft Speke office

Leyland-based infrastructure support giant Enterprise is to build a 200,000 sq ft office in South Liverpool as it prepares for ongoing expansion.

A planning application is expected later this year for the base on 11 acres of Estuary Business Park with completion due by 2011. The office would lead to the creation of 1,500 new jobs.

The company has long held a joint venture with Liverpool City Council, called Enterprise Liverpool, maintaining highways, cleaning streets and soon to collect refuse.

Enterprise has a customer care centre at Urban Splash's Matchworks site in Speke. The company emplys 15,000 people around the country in divisions from rail to defence.
