Edison Point let to K&N
Kuehne & Nagel has agreed a lease with PIN Property on a 108,000 sq ft distribution facility in Astmoor Industrial Estate, Runcorn.
The former Superfos manufacturing and distribution facility was bought by PIN in early 2014 and underwent a full refurbishment to provide a modern warehousing facility with extended yard, dock level loading, re-clad elevations, new roof and refurbished offices.
K&N agreed to take the property on signed practical completion of the refurbishment works, with a 10-year lease agreed as part of its strategy to consolidate its drinks distribution contract within the North West.
B8 Real Estate and Altus Edwin Hill jointly represented PIN Property.
Imran Younus, commercial and marketing director at PIN said: "We will continue to acquire strategic properties in the Liverpool/Manchester belt. We have been successful in letting 750,000 sq ft of properties in Halton and now have major holdings on the Astmoor and Manor Park industrial estates in Runcorn."
