DTZ appoints new marketing executive

Real estate adviser DTZ has recruited Hannah Gurnham as marketing and communications executive in Manchester.

She previously worked in-house for Manchester City Council, Mott MacDonald Group and the Institution of Structural Engineers on a variety of campaigns relating to the built environment.

Gurnham will be working with colleagues to raise awareness of DTZ's operations from its Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle offices. She will report into regions outside London marketing manager, Kerry Hough.

Hough said: "Hannah will be working closely with the teams across the region to raise the profile of the significant work that is being done with clients. We work closely with our clients to ensure we maximise the potential for promoting newsworthy stories on their behalf in the media. Recently this has included the Manchester Airports Group, Manchester City Council and BT.

Gurnham is replacing Caroline Walkden in the role and will be based in at the office in Marsden Street, Manchester city centre.

Walkden left the company after taking over from Anne Griffiths in June this year.
