Drivers Jonas move in with Deloitte

More than a year after the merger, staff from the Drivers Jonas side of Drivers Jonas Deloitte will today finally move from New York Street to join their colleagues in Spinningfields.

Deloitte acquired Drivers Jonas in January 2010 and the two Manchester offices are the last in the UK to be brought together, due partly to the fact it is the largest Drivers Jonas regional centre.

Around 70 staff will leave Bruntwood's 5 New York Street opposite Piccadilly Place and move into the seventh floor of 2 Hardman Street, in space formerly occupied by Allied London's marketing team. Allied London marketing staff are now in Quay House, Quay Street.

Simon Bedford, head of Drivers Jonas Deloitte in the North West, said: "Although Drivers Jonas and Deloitte have been merged operationally for over a year, this is the first time that all of our employees will be under one roof in the city.

"With projects such as the new Enterprise Zone soon to be underway, this is an exciting time for Manchester and this strengthened presence will allow us to operate even more effectively on behalf of our clients here."

Pat Loftus, practice senior partner at Deloitte in the North West, added: "Working together for the past 12 months has already proved very successful as we continue to develop a unique real estate service offering for our clients. We are delighted to welcome our Drivers Jonas Deloitte colleagues into our Hardman Street offices and look forward to the benefit of their knowledge and expertise."

Direct dial telephone numbers and emails remain the same for all Drivers Jonas staff.

Drivers Jonas Deloitte also recently established a more permanent presence in Liverpool following its move into Exchange Flags.
