Director hire for Cumbria’s Genesis

The Penrith-based housebuilder has appointed Andy Patmore as operations director, tasked with supporting the company’s construction and commercial teams.

Patmore joins from Gleeson Homes, where he was operations director for Cumbria, and he has previously held senior roles at other housebuilders including Lovell Homes and Persimmon Homes. He has around 40 years’ experience in the industry.

In his new role, Patmore will oversee projects in south Cumbria under the Russell Armer Homes brand, after Genesis Homes acquired that business earlier in the year. He will also more broadly lead the commercial and construction teams across other projects.

Genesis has sites in construction at Rheda North Park, Hackthorpe and Stainburn, and pipeline developments in Calthwaite, Penrith, Etterby and Lazonby due to commence this year.
