Daly moves to Taylor Wimpey

Jennie Daly, managing director of Cheshire-based Harrow Estates, part of Redrow, has left the company after 12 years to become UK director of planning at Taylor Wimpey.

Daly joined Harrow Estates, based in Sutton Weaver near Runcorn, in 2002 as strategic planning manager and founding employee, rising to take the managing director role in 2009.

Daly will replace Keith George, who is retiring from Taylor Wimpey. Daly will handle planning issues around site developments across the UK. She will operate nationally, and has a roving brief but will continue to spend a significant amount of time in the North West.

She told Place North West that she was looking forward to "picking up new challenges, and working centrally in a large business focusing on the delivery of new housing."

Mike Riding has taken over as managing director at Harrow Estates. He founded Harrow with former Redrow owner Steve Morgan in 2001 before leaving in 2009 to join Northern Trust. He returned to the company as a director in 2012.
